The Pahrump Open Schooling Shows is a great organization in a small town atmosphere. Originally this club was formed to teach people how to show their horses and get them prepared to go on to much bigger shows. Over the years the club has grown and while we still have Schooling in our name, the only part of the show that is Schooling is that when the class is judged, the judge will come to each of you and give you suggestions on how to improve. The judge does pre-walk all trail classes and jumping classes. The judge will also ask you if you know your pattern for Showmanship.

“The purpose of the club is to enable all levels of exhibitors and all horses of all breeds to show in a positive and supportive learning environment.” We do not allow schooling equipment and have dress codes that must be adhered to. We use USEF rules for our horses and AMHR for our miniature horses. We are PAC and OCAP approved so it gives you the opportunity to earn permanent points for your Paint or Pinto horses.

P.O.S.S. is a place where horse lovers can bond with each other, share information, make friends and have fun. It is a venue where horse people can gather and support each other. We welcome everyone from every area to join us.
